Valentines Day
Please work with your child to help them create their very own Valentine's Day box or bag. The possibilities for this project are endless! Begin by picking a box, bag, or empty container of your choice. You can use a shoe box, cereal box, Kleenex box, old gift bag, empty formula container, etc... Have your child decorate their Valentine's Day box however they choose. They may decide to cover it with paper (construction paper, colored paper, paper bag, etc..) first, and then add stickers, drawings, yarn, lace, or anything they choose. You may decide to get extra creative and turn their box into "something". I have found many fun Valentine's Day box ideas on Pinterest lately!
Most importantly, have your child put their name somewhere on their Valentine's Day box so that their friends can easily find it when passing out Valentines. Below you will find a list of students in our class to use when filling out Valentines. This is a great opportunity for your child to practice printing their friends names as well as their own!
I hope you all enjoy working on this project with your child!
